Why the hell is this cartoon "banned"? I seen this carton broadcast on television for almost my entire life, and there isn't anything bad in it, or wrong with it. It shows a little bit of the war between the war of the north and the south, but thats no reason not to broadcast such a classic cartoon! Thats why new cartoons suck- they all use computer animation and don't bother using any creativity to make something actually funny!!Are the cartoon networks so scared of being sued that they risk freedom of speech over simple things such as basic history? Shesh I bet they would ban a cartoon for using the word "BOOGER"!
A favorite cartoon of mine when I was a kid. I don't think this cartoon is banned. I have recently seen this cartoon on tv. The only problem I can see with this cartoon is that Buggs wakes up rather hungover and makes a remark about mixing jucies the night before. It's safe for the kids. Also, there has been some videogames made of this cartoon. (N64 has one)
Awesome collection of old cartoons! ' not sure why some of these cartoons are said to be "banned" though, as some are still aired on major tv broadcast networks.
Some of the oldest ones from the 1930s to 1940s can be very racist, and it's easy to understand why some are banned from broadcast.
1940-1945 had a lot of World War Two related cartoons. No doubt many of these can be described as racist as well.
Pretty funny stuff for 1991. ' not really sure why it's banned. Well, I guess they pushed things a tiny bit. At one point Daffy has a floor board slap him up in hte face, and bugs says something. Daffy says: "You Smug Son Of A B[CUT]" - So, some of thios stuff is really funny, but still it's like a G rating from me.
