The year is 2077 and Vancouver City Protective Services detective Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols) leads a peaceful life with her husband and young son. A self-proclaimed group of freedom fighters dubbed the 'Liber8' manage to escape execution in the futuristic police state by fleeing back to the year 2012. However, Kiera finds herself being transported back as well. Now its up to Kiera to team up with city detective Carlos Fonnegra (Victor Webster) and computer hacker Alec Sadler (Erik Knudsen) to track down Liber8's leader Edouard Kagame (Tony Amendola).
